Maaan... 3 things. This EP is straight FIYE!! Listening to Dancin in the D, then Life is Back gave me the same feeling I had when I first heard "Can You Feel It" by Mr. Fingers. I been chasing that for years bruh. This is house fareal. Ya'll just inspired me to start producing again with this. Amazing job Ash and Stef. Can't wait for the next joint!

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last!

I read in an interview that the album was composed to provoke a sense of joy, and I feel that. It's startling how "fun" it feels; I think there's some magic in the arrangement and mixing, that elevates the sound design and melodies to great heights.. I can't work out how, which creates a glorious mystery on top of the great sounds.
